Gabriola Island has one the highest concentrations of artists in Canada; truly earning the title “Isle of the Arts”. Every day is a celebration of the arts in this gorgeous little hotbed of writers, actors, poets, painters, dancers, musicians and their peers.
The annual Thanksgiving Studio Tour is the ultimate celebration of the visual arts on Gabriola. This is a unique opportunity to see artists up close and personal, many with national and international reputations. Some 60 studios welcome visitors over the Thanksgiving weekend and we’ll visit a number of them, giving you a cross section of the talented artists who call Gabriola home. www.gabriolaartscouncil.org
